As a partner, Richard also led Macfarlanes' relationships across South East Asia drawing on his connections and experience from his time with Allen & Overy in Singapore. Richard has edited two books on private equity and finance and holds an LL.B Law (Hons) from the University of Durham. He also recently completed a course in real estate and finance at LSE.When out of the office, Richard is never far from a sports pitch, whether it’s coaching (or supporting) his two young boys on the rugby, cricket and football fields, cheering on his beloved Spurs or playing (touch) rugby, football, tennis and golf (all sadly not as well as he would like).
