Oversee a recruiting team within HR shared services, supporting a diverse workforce of up to 700 employees across various employment types and categories, including professional, technical, bargaining unit and student positions. Collaborate with UW central HR to address human resource issues as well as the development of new job classifications/specifications to meet organizational needs. Develop cost-effective recruiting strategies while managing organizational structure, position description development, salary administration, candidate selection, and salary negotiations. Participate in onboarding, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Previously, as a Human Resource Administrator for a non-profit, I managed benefits, compliance, and HR programs, including onboarding and safety meetings.
