RS Perkins is a southern Ohio born performing singer/songwriter and the author of the debut novel TENSILE TOWN from Innovo Publishing.LIFE HIGHLIGHTS: The birth of 3 awesome kids, having a supportive mother and brother, married to a supportive wife, meeting interesting people such as Mitch Ryder, Jerry Garcia, Bruce Hornsby, Dave Matthews, Chris Whitley, Keb Mo, and so many unknown musicians with whom he performed in various bands, seeing Jimi Hendrix Experience in concert with Soft Machine, slipping some skin with Terry Kath, seeing the Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil Beatles LOVE show, attending the second Donda listening party in Atlanta with youngest son Gabriel, playing in a cool southern Rock band from Roanoke called The Medley Brothers who were edged out of signing with Columbia Records by the “new” sound of Cheap Trick, opening for and running around town with Jacob Dylan and The Wallflowers, opening for Eddie Money and The Call with brother Phil and Mike Moore in their band The Rules, being introduced to Owen Bradley by his grandson as “hey grandpa, meet your next big singer”, signing a deal with Garry Tallent’s record label D’Ville Record Group and having him produce the first DIGNUS album In Your World featuring George Marinelli on additional guitars, playing the Bitter End in NYC, touring with and opening for Screaming Cheetah Wheelies, touring with Gov’t Mule, being a cancer survivor, but nothing will ever compare to being saved by the blood of Jesus Christ and being born again. The best is yet to come.
