I have had the opportunity to write public article since the beginning of my association with #CScience in 2021. This introduction also lead me to write articles in the #TorontoStar.In the summer of 2023, I started writing my own book: "SECURE by Design: A leader's guide to keeping cybercriminals out of your business", allowing me to coach executives on their liability and to accompany them into taking cybersecurity in their own hands. As the guiding light to their employees, they have to take initial steps, to inspire their troops, and eventually, create a SECURE culture.The book will be release end of July 2024, on Amazon, through RETHINK press. I will personnaly publish the French edition.

Bedard has participated:- As a panelist, he participated to the Vision PDG event from the Quebec Technological Association on the D-BOX cyberattack. He shared the stage with M. Guillaume Caron, founder of VARS Corporation and M. Sébastien Mailhot, CEO of D-Box Technologies.- As a speaker at GO SEC 2022, he presented on the importance of the first minutes after a breach and how companies can better arm themselves to ensure visibility and automated reaction to minimize the potential collateral damages.- As an expert at FIC 2022 Americas (Forum International de la Cybersécurité) in Montreal, he will be hosting a roundtable and demonstrate the need to monitor and secure all devices accessing your data, as a first line of defense.- As a speaker at Strategies PME 2022, he discussed the challenges of digital transformation and how can company better prepare against those challenges. He also explained a strategy to maximize talent retention and become an attraction center for fresh talents.- As a panelist at the FIC 2023 in Lille, France, I was invited to provide insights with regards to machine identity being the weakest link in the Identity and Access Management space.- As a panelist at IT SEC 2023, in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, I was invited to provide an proactive and incident response point of view to a 4 person panel, which reviewed the cyber-attack case of ISM in 2017.- As an invited speaker at the Canadian SME Summit in Toronto, I was invited to do a conference challenging small and medium business owners on their readiness to face an attack.- In February 2024, he was invited to give a keynote speech on how IT Architecture has to evolve to include Cybersecurity.-In May 2024, he was invited to ITSec 2024 and was interviewed on his upcoming book, SECURE by Design.

MagnetEye was a startup effort to bring clarity and automation to business processes, through a SaaS product. My responsibilities in the startup were to align all the I.T. requirements to ensure viability of the cloud-based corporation and provide all the productivity tools to them. I was also charged with planning and aligning the partner program. MagnetEye was shutdown against our best efforts due to a lack of funding, not for a lack of efforts.
