With many years IT experience performing varied roles including systems engineer, technical trainer, technical author and systems consultant.My recent roles have included the development and deployment of innovative solutions mainly automating and integrating VMware vSphere, NSX and vRealize products of virtualized data center's in large transformation projects. I am passionate about technology and love nothing more than a technical challenge and really enjoy working out how to achieve something and make operational tasks more consistent and repeatable. Scripting and PowerShell, would be a particular strength although I can hold my own with other scripting technologies such as Bash and Python; I spend a lot of time in Linux, Visual Studio Code and GitLab/Github.My technical training background gives me the confidence to consult and present technical solutions to all levels from technical experts to CIO and have regularly presented to large audience (200+) events. I have my own home lab that could rival a small organization, compete with VMware VCF, 10GbE networking and Palo Alto firewalls and BGP networking.
