As the Asset Manager, I managed the ISO:55001 Asset Management gap analysis in addition to providing subject matter expertise concerning a Maintenance and Engineering tender in the infrastructure and sustainability team valued at over GBP£100 million. As a Reliability Engineer, I managed risk analysis for the property portfolio whilst engaging with the Asset Management Working group executing enabled works and reviews to process bulk consolidations from 36 EAM, CMMS, and CAFM systems. Notable Achievements • Conducted technical reviews of bidders’ proposals for the GBP£100 million maintenance and engineering tender. These reviews encompassed maintenance performance management; planned and reactive maintenance approaches; materials, spares and consumables management; and proposals for IT Systems including integration with TfL systems. • Appointed as the Lead Asset Custodian and Representative during the CMMS transition and successfully developed workflows for work order management and data standards whilst executing UAT. Further appointed as an Asset Data Custodian to manage master and transactional data. • Appointed as the Internal Lead to coordinate the Lloyd’s Registry ISO:55001 Asset Management maturity assessment of department and establish a subsequent implementation plan. • Implemented the engineering drawing management system whilst managing supplier configurations and drawing uploads. • Appointed as the Commercial Representative at the pan-TfL Building Information Modelling Working Group (PAS 1192) to develop an asset information approach across asset lifecycle, including construction information processes. • Appointed as the Commercial Representative at the pan-TfL Asset Management Users Group (ISO:55000) in collaboration with systems architects to deliver a single EAM system for EAM.

As the Reliability Engineer, I was responsible for establishing the local maintenance and asset management capability. Notable Achievements • Seconded to lead the business improvement project addressing the identified maintenance management capability gap in all Nigerian operations with the goal of standardising maintenance reporting, administration systems, and procedures across multiple sites. • Appointed as the Microsoft Dynamics AX Maintenance Module Implementation Lead for key Nigerian users and the Australian support team to deliver the Enterprise Asset Management business system across all sites in Nigeria. • Developed and implemented standards, processes, and procedures that enabled the capability uplift of site staff for maintenance planning, scheduling, and management. • Identified the user-base and role privileges matrix in addition to configuring AX approval processes to meet company probity and accounting standards. • Mediated international key user teams, namely Nigeria-Australia and Mongolia-Australia, to deploy the AX and ensure it met the needs of site and head office users. • Developed role focussed AX manuals in addition to training key users and configuring screens to assist economy of data and efficiency of work.

As the Maintenance Planning Engineer and Maintenance Manager, I established the local maintenance and asset management capability in addition to managing a maintenance team of 70 as well as day-to-day maintenance executions across the mining fleet. Notable Achievements• Executed a restructure of the site maintenance administration process and implemented new maintenance planning, scheduling, and record keeping procedures and business systems. • Appointed as a Project Lead to drive the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX EAM. • Achieved an ambitious target or zero reportable safety incidents through diligent strategies prioritising team outcomes and compliance. • Appointed as the Key Site Maintenance Representative during the annual budgeting process to deliver indicative job scopes and performance factors for pricing departmental spend. • Conducted gap analysis of site maintenance systems, processes and capability to define scope and plan for improvement project. • Appointed as a Technical Advisor to support the business and solicitors during legal proceedings.

Rio Tinto is one of the largest multinational metals and mining corporations producing iron, aluminium, copper, titanium, borates, and other minerals. I was responsible for managing and monitoring performance in addition to implementing improvement and intervention strategies for all pumps in an alumina refinery. Notable Achievements • Conducted root cause analysis regarding pump failures in collaboration with multiple parties to identify implementable solutions by examining large data sets and years of process systems readings sampled at 1 Hz to identify failure indicators. • Delivered maintenance tactics of pump groups to reduce the aggregate breakdown costs of target pump groups by 30 per cent. • Analysed over 100,000 pump maintenance data points to develop metrics to identify pump groups with the highest cost saving opportunities. • Appointed as a Change Management Process Lead when refinery and mine operations changed hydrocarbon suppliers. This involved collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage health, safety, and business risks.

I supported implementation of minor engineering projects and reviews, including the implementation of the AMPLA MES system in addition to reconfiguring data categories align reporting functions with internal standards. Notable Achievements • Developed and delivered report templates in addition to integrating Ampla reporting with pre-existing reporting processes to improve report compilation cycle-times from 40 hours to four hours. This included training operators in the correct use of Ampla, conducting tests and UAT, and delivering associated documentation. • Executed a restructure of the data entry and review process and improved down-time event data integrity from less than 50 per cent to 99 per cent. • Developed new definitions for ship-loader, vigilance, and siren operation controls to resolve incident reports. • Delivered a new graduate programme, for which I received the Rio Tinto Bravo Award for making a significant and positive impact on the group.
