Provided expert and professional front-end digital design, development and consultancy services in order to implement web design and developments for both internal and external purposes.Responsible for building the web templates and technical solutions from beginning to end, I ensured they were appropriately planned, designed, developed then tested (including consideration or content management platforms and a full range of web browsers). As a result of this I ensured we met our external and internal obligations for branding, web standards, legal standards and accessibility.Key responsibilities: • Manage small, medium and large projects which have a rolling planning period of up to 9 months • Guidance and training in use of Aegon's web templates • Build of user interface and technical solutions including multi browser compatible branded templates, wireframes and prototypes • Actively influence and liaise with internal and external agencies on web specification, branding, usability and accessibility of their systems • Brand reviews, quality testing and sign off of internal and 3rd party deliverables • Stay up to date with latest digital trends and techniques to help offer a variety of design and technical solutions that meet project and customer needs

This was an initial 2 year contract as part of a Scottish Executive funded project that was monitored by Glasgow City Council. The main purpose of my role was to develop the awareness of Credit Unions within Glasgow by building a website that users could come to in order to find out about Credit Unions, how they could benefit them and find the nearest one. The position also involved helping the Credit Unions resolve IT issues and obtain equipment upgrades. • Web team lead - manage project accountabilities and time-scales • Deliver website with extensive features and integrated CMS within a year • Visit Credit Unions to carry out IT audits with an external agency • Resolve any IT issues Credit Unions were experiencing
