The Foot-Rx is a unique shoelace insert that complements both athletic and street shoes to effectively reduce foot pain and inflammation. A relatively common ailment among athletes, this issue is typically caused and/or exacerbated by the pressure points that are created where a shoe’s laces secure around the top of the foot (the metatarsal region).Designed to redistribute this pressure over a larger surface area, I created the Foot-Rx in an effort to address my own foot pain, as I trained and qualified for the 2013 Boston Marathon.
