- Pioneered a new approach to assessing children’s needs via the internet by creating Virtual Assessment Rooms, which have since been put into practice to provide interactivity and engagement for children so educational psychologists can use this virtual platform to assess the needs of children. - Performed literacy assessments in primary schools as pre and post measures to evaluate the impact of a targeted literacy intervention and to assess the impact of prolonged school closures due to national lockdown on pupils' literacy skills.- Researched and put together a wellbeing charter for the service in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, where the points of wellbeing reflect what the service as a group and as individuals find valuable.- Co-created a questionnaire aiming to collect information on the level of information school staff have on DSH to inform the development of DSH training to school staff across the local authority.- Participated in various research tasks to aid educational psychologists in their projects, including research into preparing children for adulthood, PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Creativity and Empathy) and DSH (deliberate self-harm).- Supported training programmes for school staff involving trauma, resilience, attachment and emotion coaching.- Attained valuable experience in the dynamic field of educational psychology.
