Raj Sekhar heads Global Leadership Partners, an organization focused on releasing potential and creating Leaders. Prior to this Raj was a General Manager with IBM. In IBM, he was responsible for Career Development for two of the Business Units across the Globe. Before moving into the Global job, Raj headed Professional Development in Asia Pacific for IBM. Raj has also worked in the ASEAN Region and in India with IBM. For three years he was responsible for Leadership Development in the 6 ASEAN countries of IBM. In IBM India, Raj has held leadership positions in Business Transformation, Customer Satisfaction, General Services, Procurement, and Learning. During his tenure in IBM India, he was a member of the 7 member executive team that governed IBM India. In all; he has spent 12 years with IBM. He moved into IBM from Xerox. Over the 12 years that Raj was with Xerox, he held Leadership positions in Sales, Marketing, Quality and Customer Satisfaction. His last job with Xerox was Country Manager Quality and Customer Satisfaction. Passionate about releasing potential in people, Raj has had the opportunity to Coach many managers and executives and has been instrumental in taking them to the next level of Leadership. Currently he Coaches Senior Executives in the area of Executive Presence, Strategic Thinking, Business Transformation Authentic Leadership etc. Raj loves to read, he reads books on Learning, Leadership and Personal Development. He also reads a lot of fiction to relieve stress. He loves writing and has published short stories and articles in newspapers and magazines. Leadership and People Development are major areas of interest for Raj and he has designed and delivered a number of Leadership and other Development programs within IBM and outside of IBM. He has also been called to speak on the subject of Leadership in many B schools, business forums and seminars.
