Provides management and advisement within all facets of the Human Resource function. Responsible for the management, administration, coordination, evaluation of overall functions for a company of 500+ employees. Evaluates the operational and system needs of the organization through the utilization of assigned liaisons and managers. Advises point of contacts for the talent acquisition and onboarding processes. Works collaboratively with employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and staff retention. Oversee an HR staff of five.

Reporting to the CEO, this position is a member of the Senior Leadership team guiding company and people strategy. Identifying and helping to onboard the talent requirements of the organization, coaching and guiding the management team on matters of people, complying with ever changing external regulations, stewarding the Pharos culture and building efficient systems and processes for growth.

Administered human resource policies, programs and practices, including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing. Duties included formulating policies and procedures for the Human Resources Department and recommending policies and practices to management.

As part of the Management team, responsible for all aspects of human resources for Rochester including recruitment & selection, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, training & development, employment related policies & procedures, performance management administration, payroll and legislated projects. Also participated in site Health & Safety programs.
