About Rebecca G.

I am a storyteller. I am a data analyst. I am an artist. I am a producer. I am a writer. I am searching for a job that will allow me to be the great storyteller that I am in the field data visualization allows me to just that. I've spent a lot of time enhancing my data analytics skills through Coursera classes and reading up on the latest ideas of the industry, so as to not lose any skills during the pandemic. I am a lifelong learner and I find pleasure in spending part of my day taking courses, reading books by leaders in the field, or watching a YouTube video. I attended over a dozen seminars on data analytics and visualization.I also used this time to read not only industry trade books, but also culturally significant books. I raised my voice within the larger chorus of #metoo and #BLM. In addition, I continued to volunteer at Free Arts to ensure that the teen I've been partnered with didn't lose her creative drive during the pandemic. More recently, since the worst of the pandemic has been diminished in the United States, through the nonprofit Because I Said I Would, I've partnered with a family who lost a loved one but was not able to say goodbye and is looking for closure, so I will be making a short video of them telling stories about him, which think is such a great way to remember someone. Finally, in this big bucket of things I’ve done over the last few months; I am teaching myself Spanish and getting directly involved in my community. I am a NAMI Ambassador and am certified in mental health first aid.https://coursera.org/share/0df341cfbb988fc01784e2b9b342062eClient Industries: Art | Non-profit | Health & Wellness | Education | Pets | Kids | Beauty .
