Rebecca is a five-time Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist with experience in hyper-local, national and international news. Her commitment to in-depth and investigative storytelling began in 2014 while working as a news assistant in Israel. She traveled to war-torn areas, interviewing Israelis and Palestinians during Operation Protective Edge. From there, she secured an internship at CNN in their Atlanta headquarters. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with honors, Rebecca worked as a Multi-Media Journalist and Producer at WWLP-22News in Springfield, Massachusetts. She then moved back to New York City and began working as a Producer at Spectrum News NY1. Rebecca was instrumental in NY1’s live evening coverage, helping launch “Live at Ten” hosted by Cheryl Wills. After four years as a Producer, she transitioned to on-air Reporter, covering her beloved borough of Brooklyn. Rebecca has reported on a myriad of stories across the five boroughs, including the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, the deadly apartment building fire in the Bronx, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
