In the post-acquisition phase, I am leading the Engineering teams responsible for Reveal’s preservation and collection capabilities. Dynamic Water is dedicated to providing local, clean water access to communities in need. As leader of the organization, I provide strategic direction and oversight of all activities. I seek and develop relationships with other organizations looking to integrate clean water into their poverty alleviation and community development operations. I manage donor and supporter relations, including record keeping and reporting. I head up our fundraising events, working with volunteers to coordinate all aspects from planning to execution and followup.Our fundraising focuses on leveraging the talents, passions, and connections of our supporters in an effort to have their engagement with Dynamic Water be integrated into their lives and not a separate activity. One of our end goals is to free those in need from the burden of collecting and purifying water for survival, and give them back hours each day that can be invested in improving their own lives. We want to help them move from surviving to living.On the fundraising side, my objective is to lead well while empowering others to use their talents, passions, and connections to participate in ways that are meaningful to them and those we serve. I love to engage with people to help them determine the things they do best and are most passionate about. Then, I help them see the connection between those things and helping others.On the organizational side, I thoroughly enjoy working with other organizations and their leaders to see how we can collaborate to help them achieve their water related development plans. The experience we gained through our first project in Kenya puts me in a position to provide insight on what makes for a successful, sustainable project.

I am joining the Onna team to help lead the effort to build out a world-class software engineering organization. Partnering with our brilliant technical co-founder and strong product and engineering leadership, I will be working to grow the team in our RTP office, guide the team professionally, and refine our processes to ensure we continue to deliver high quality, secure software that allows our clients to "Connect anything, do everything."

It has taken some time to figure out exactly which 5 jobs I have at K4Connect. I try to bring order in the midst of chaos. I take responsibility to driving toward solutions to improve the quality of our products and processes. This means a significant amount of coordination across departments, a lot of communication, and orchestration of efforts, not to mention to continual reprioritization.I lead our testing team, both automated and manual, our level three support efforts, and our build infrastructure development. I fight fires as well as the tyranny of the urgent. I am improving our processes within Engineering and our communication across the organization. I also order lunch for sprint demos.Working in a startup has provided me a chance to utilize my experience and skillset, while developing another side of those same skills as they have been stretched in new ways.

Responsible for leading the teams responsible for testing all SAS BI coding clients, including SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office. I use my strong interpersonal skills to communicate with R&D and executive leadership to align testing and development projects with division and company goals. I set objectives for my teams to encourage ownership of job roles and innovation in processes. I work with product management to develop and curate product roadmaps. I represent the company and products at SAS Global Forum and other customer facing events, presenting product demos, answering in-depth Q&A, and listening to end-users to gain a better understanding of market needs.Part of a team developing a program to better equip new managers to perform both the technical and interpersonal parts of their roles more effectively. Started a leadership collective for young managers across the organization to foster collaboration and growth. Mentors new development and testing managers.

Lead team responsible to testing the new web-based SAS programming environment, SAS Studio (available in SAS University Edition). Worked with development management and product management to shape the direction and vision of the product. Identified and worked to guide development of existing skills within the team and aligned responsibilities to ensure both effective and engaged employees. Directly managed a team of 5, including one remote employee, as well as, coordinated with a peer testing team in Beijing. Worked to expand awareness and user base by visiting local schools on behalf of the company and product.Lead team responsible for testing SAS Retail Space Planning and SAS Space Optimization. Coordinated testing of the web-based products which used a SAS server, data tier (DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL), and Adobe Flex UI. Worked directly with domestic and international customers to provide QA.

Developed in-house tooling to support automated testing and deployment. Created and maintained an application to provide a point-and-click interface for multiple command line, shell script tools. Automated deployment of dev and test systems. Leveraged Java, Perl, PHP, SAS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Worked across divisions to provide support for tooling to domestic and international internal customers.

Lead tester for multi-tiered Java application. Responsible for test system administration, interactive and automated testing for a digital marketing application. Developed test suites using Java, PHP, HTML, and SAS.Test team lead for a web-based application. Coordinated interactive and automated testing efforts for a retail solution.
