Recruited to manage complex issues addressing coverage, fraud, major injuries and litigation cases. Conducted detailed evaluations in regard to injury claims and accidents, difficult negotiations and in-depth investigation with as many as 350 cases pending. Attended mediations, depositions, trials, and settlement conferences to ensure all cases were handled in the appropriate way.Examples of demonstrated results:Fraud – Worked with the Arizona State Department of Insurance, investigated plaintiff with high demands, subsequently uncovering information that injuries plaintiff was claiming were self-induced after initial claim.Aggravated Liability with a Willful and Wanton Defense: Plaintiff had willfully rode in vehicle with insured when both were intoxicated. Injuries were comprised of deep lacerations to forehead with bad scarring. Settled out for $12K based on willful and wanton with assumption of risk.
