Embarked on my professional journey back in 1989, initially delving into the world of selling sophisticated testing machines. However, my trajectory took a fascinating turn in 1993 when I transitioned into the realm of "Vibration Transmission Control." As a perpetual learner, little did I anticipate dedicating so many years to this field and developing a genuine fondness for it.The journey has been nothing short of exhilarating, particularly when we introduced the concept of vibration control in India during the early '90s, a time when such concerns were largely overlooked. Interacting with insightful and knowledgeable individuals across the industry played a pivotal role in my professional growth. Engaging in discussions, sharing knowledge, and absorbing various business nuances became an integral part of the process. Today, the industry perceives vibration control as almost indispensable.The initial introduction of springs and Viscodampers for vibration isolation posed a challenge, with even qualified engineers initially apprehensive about placing their machines on springs. This realization emphasized the importance of disseminating the principles of vibration control at all levels, from operators to CEOs. Witnessing the transformation as people grasped the concept, coupled with the joy of resolving their challenges, turned the endeavor into more than just work—it became genuinely enjoyable.Fast forward to today, and springs have evolved into a standard technology supporting machines in Indian industries. The technology is unquestioned, and our expertise is trusted. However, the journey of learning, for both my team and me, as well as the users, persists—and we relish every moment of it.
