I provide technical support and customer assistance for Trimble Mapping and Survey GPS hardware and software.

Develop and execute multimedia presentations for use at the WCB quarterly meetings, primarily composed of maps and other spatial data. Work with Federal, State , County, and Local government agencies, as well as various NGOs to effectively share various spatial and related data, such that they can be assimilated and incorporated into WCB programs and projects. Independently and cooperatively research and analyze various spatial and related data utilizing GIS techniques and methodologies to assist management in developing more objective and robust planning and decision-making processes. Develop and maintain the WCB public website in accordance with state standards. Serve as WCB’s Information Systems Committee Coordinator on the DFG ICC and provide computer support for WCB staff, including installation, training, and troubleshooting. Assist in development and maintenance of WCB Corporate Database.

Design and produce accurate, effective thematic maps for resource mapping, including civil engineering projects, environmental planning, fire management, cultural resource management, and special projects as directed by Management. Collect spatial data for various mapping projects using a GPS; in addition, train others in the use of a GPS. Perform geospatial data analysis and support for internal and external customers as directed by Management. Prepare and present reports (using PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) as directed by Management.

Design, produce, and maintain accurate nationwide library of thematic residential property maps. Act as Cartographic/GIS lead for Open Source (Geoserver/PostgreSQL) Web Mapping Integration Project. Prepare and present reports (using PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) Design, develop, and maintain various data files, databases, and data resource systems for corporate data. Work closely with Senior Java Software Engineer and Development DBA in order to create and maintain documentation for enterprise design, process, descriptions, and data dictionaries . Work closely with project lead in order to create and maintain project status reports and workflow documentation. Assist in the full-cycle deployment of a new Web-Based Open Source Integrated GIS System.
