Contratado como analista em hemoterapia pelo Instituto de Cardiologia do Distrito Federal e remanejado para a Fundação Hemocentro de Brasília (FHB), na Gerência de Controle de Qualidade. Atuação direta nos processos de controle e monitoração da qualidade dos hemocomponentes produzidos na Fundação. Desenvolvimento de ferramentas para validação de equipamentos, processos e metodologias. Participação nos processos de certificação e AABB. Dentre outras atividades.

Atuação direta em todo o Ciclo do Sangue, que abrange desde a coleta até o acompanhamento do paciente após a transfusão, passando por etapas como: processamento e controle de qualidade do hemoderivados, realização de testes pré-transfusionais, realização de transfusões, dentre outras. Na unidade transfusional do Hospital Regional da Ceilândia foi possível desenvolver e implantar um sistema para controle dos testes realizados a fim de monitorar e controlar tais testes.

Participação em todas as atividades de análises clínicas (hematologia, bioquímica, imunologia, parasitologia e microbiologia) desenvolvidas no laboratório. Além da coleta de amostras, processamento e análise de exames realizados, foi possível desenvolver e implantar um processo de controle de qualidade para as rotinas bioquímicas, o que permitiu identificar e corrigir falhas técnicas.
