Recommend, design and implement accounting systems to facilitate consolidated reporting across 90+ properties and multiple accounting systems. Participate in and support Financial Accounting projects including pro-forma analysis, and financial modelling. Provide advanced Excel training, champion the introduction of SQL programming and reporting. MS SQL database design including web based front end to facilitate long term debt reporting and tracking of non-financial data.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, assist in all aspects of the financial reporting process. Corporate accounting, Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements and MD&A, Acquisition Accounting, Controls Testing, Cash Management, Dealing with External Auditors, Stock-Based Compensation, Secured Debt, Deferred Financing

Full cycle accounting, include production of monthly financial reports, cash management, maintenance of accounting records, enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
