I led the North American BBC StoryWorks (branded content) team in translating BBC adveritsing partners’ marketing needs into brilliant, custom solutions (content, creative, events, etc.) that were informed by site analytics and reader behavior. I represented the BBC brand and values to clients and leveraged these as the reason why working with BBC is a boon to their own business objectives. Internally, I ensured the standards of BBC’s partner-funded content and also that our commercial policies enable nimble partnerships in the rapid evolution of the publishing world. I managed a team of editors, content strategists, developers, and designers.

By working closely with BBC.com editorial and product teams, I crafted a brand narrative that generated coverage across North America about the company’s digital investments. I collaborated with editorial and commercial units to maximize referral traffic, content partnerships, talent engagement, and emerging media opportunities.

I worked on a small team that conceptualized and executed creative influencer and new media initiatives for entertainment and CPG clients, including: Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, MSNBC, Bravo, and Deckers. We worked closely with the search team to marry timely content seeding and SEO efforts that drove measurable traffic to client domains.

I crafted and generated bilingual communications and publicity for the expansion of BloombergLink to Latin America. For three key forums, I provided on-site press management with elite speakers – including, current and former heads of state, royalty, A-list celebrities, and C-suite executives.

By constructing 6-12 month thought leadership programs, I produced a steady cadence of coverage for financial services & energy clients, including Wachovia, McGladrey, and CREE. I also developed intern recruitment and training materials; serving as mentor and liaison for intern staff.
