Handholding serious investors from the point-of-arrival to point of departure, providing them with all required information, assisting them in formulating their investment plans, helping their India visits, accompanying them during their site visits, coordinating meetings with potential Indian joint venture partners and helping expedite their approvals and clearances2. Research : Preparing Industry representations to the Government on policy issues, Sector Reports, Concept notes, and presentations on proposals for establishing new avenues of revenue, preparing technical and financial proposals / bids for Government Projects2. Advocacy: Liaison with members of Industry and Government to strengthen the network, gather and gauge inputs towards decision making by top management

• Research and analysis in the area of Infrastructure sector comprising of Railways, Roads & Highways, Civil Aviation, and Ports & Shipping.• Identifying issues of business importance in the Infrastructure Sector through active interactions with major players in the public and private sector, government departments, consultants & multilateral agencies.• Interfacing & Building strategic partnerships & alliances with the industry stakeholders, Government, multilateral agencies and the private sector towards creating a conducive policy framework for attracting investment in the sector• Networking and lobbying with all the major Stake holders, Regulators, Government Departments & Officials in the Infrastructure sector & working towards providing an impetus to the Indian Infrastructure Sector• Facilitating engagement of private sector with the Policymakers on investment climate • Dissemination of information regarding business opportunities in the sector & highlighting Issues faced by the Infrastructure Industry through seminars, conferences, workshops and delegations.• Identifying & analyzing Brand Development exercises & Corporate Communication Strategies in the form of print, electronic, outdoor advertisement, press releases, etc.

• To recommend suitable measures for promotion of plasticulture in the country.• To facilitate increased adoption of various Plasticulture applications like drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, protected cultivation, community tanks, post harvest management, etc.• To facilitate in promotion of Research and Development and to build data base in plasticulture.• Issues connected with promotion of plasticulture in the country.
