CurrentAs Reactor Engineer (12/2006-6/2014 then 7/2015-Present), perform reactor related tests and surveillances (including use of BEACON for surveillances and load swing simulations), prepare fuel move lists, serve on cross-disciplinary teams (e.g., zero fuel failures, dry cask storage), coordinate information requests to fuel vendors, support plant evolutions and special tests.Performed as Reactor Vessel Integrity Engineer (6/2014 -7/2015), program lead for the Reactor Vessel Integrity and Internals, responsible for vessel integrity and MRP-227 vessel internals program, prepare evaluations, provide oversight on vendor and site activities, support vessel related plant inspections. As Fuel Project Engineer (4/2005-12/2006), performed as responsible agent for fuel related issues for St. Lucie Units 1 and 2, coordinate information transfers between FPL Fuel Engineering and fuel vendors, review fuel related OE notices for applicability to St. Lucie, prepare OE notices for fuel issues, maintain and prepare fuel performance and fuel system health reports, evaluate fuel mechanical design changes and vendor corrective action notices. Present SOER 96-02 recommendations to management for reload design changes. Additional support included technical specialist duties for NUPIC audit on vendor software products.
