Part of the McAfee Security leadership team leading all aspects of the $250M Sniffer business, a global Network Management/Fault ID leader including P&L, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales. Spearheaded effort to complete private equity spinout re-establishing Network General, Inc. as a private firm in 2005.

Responsible for driving the investment direction of more than $5B annually to transform the data and voice network for BellSouth. Responsibilities included management of the Science & Technology labs to evaluate, acquire and roll-out new technology (including optical, IP, ATM, soft-switching, home networking & DSL), Network Planning of billions of dollars of technology assets, including capacity management and product commercialization of those assets. Became the youngest appointed corporate officer in the history of BellSouth.

Aggressive growth of this unit moved it to #2 in marketshare amongst internet service providers in the southeastern US and was in the top 10 of largest US internet providers within its first 2.5 years of operation. Over 1M internet subscribers were achieved by year 2000.
