In consideration of that, I decided to prioritize my professional development, and so voluntarily left on good terms after giving my manager an extended window of time for hiring a replacement, whom I personally trained.

This role required extensive, task-focused communication with coworkers and supervisors, but also customer service under shift-emergent scenarios.Working primarily with ESL individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including a number of refugees, I provided honest empathy for their experiences, sharing my own when requested, always with respect and understanding for the privilege my place entailed.The pandemic resulted in limited business hours over the course of 2020, during which my life partner was accepted for a fellowship position located in Seattle, WA. It was a hard choice, leaving Monsoon, but love does these things to us. I gave notice over four months in advance, assisting with training for my replacement before leaving on good terms.
