The integration and upgrade of the EDI communication from dial up and bisynchronous modem to SMTP, AS1 and AS2Designed and supervised the conversion and integration of the shipping system and ERP system, replacing a manual upload and download system with a 6 hour delay to an automated system with less than 1 minute delay. By converting the system from a single location, MS Access database, to a multi-location MySQL database, allowing Art Line to leverage the software for use in its main location and its west coast warehouse.Moved the server farm to a co-location site for better uptime and security. The data center construction included upgrading the backbone infrastructure to include redundant paths to servers, Internet firewall and servers. Backup and disaster recovery plans. All upgrades and procedures complied with ISO 9001 certification that the company carried.Deployed IRMS, an automated warehouse management system, and oversaw the interfaces from the IRMS to Syteline. Developed and deployed Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Office Automation (EOA) programs. Installed an Automatic Call Distribution system for customer service, reducing the headcount by 20%.
