* Involved in the field of experiential education since 1988. * Began career in cooperative education and career services as the business coordinator at the University of Detroit Mercy where he advanced to Dean of the Cooperative Education and Career Center.* Involved with the Midwest Training Center for Cooperative Education and actively involved with the Michigan Council for Internship & Cooperative Education (MC-ICE), Midwest Cooperative Education and Internship Association (MCEIA), the Cooperative Education & Internship Association (CEIA), National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE), Michigan Association of Colleges and Employers (Mi-ACE) and the Michigan College Personnel Association (MCPA).* Active in Michigan Council for Internship and Cooperative Education (MC-ICE) serving as MC-ICE President in 1995 and 2008, I served as the awards committee chair and conference planning committee member.* Involved in the Midwest Cooperative Education and Internship Association (MCEIA) serving a four year term as the CEIA Region 4 Liaison, a committee member for the 1990 and 2008 annual conferences and a member of the awards committee and nominations committee.* Served as Treasurer of MCEIA from October 2002-November 2004 and as the Treasurer for the MCEIA 2003 Conference. * Involved with CEIA, serving three years as President Elect/President and Past President, four years as the Region 4 Vice President, a member of the student affairs, awards, 2-year college network and the nominations Committees.* Values and enjoys these leadership experiences and the opportunity to meet and work with many new people.* Co-presented Nuts and Bolts Workshop for new Co-op/Internship Professionals at the MCEIA Annual Conference.* NACE Mentor.* Involved in MCPA Annual Diversity Summit Planning Committee.Specialties: * Extensive experience as a co-op and career services practitioner and administrator at the two and four-year level. * Actively involved in developing new programs as well as enhancing existing programs. * Participates in critical areas of a co-op and internship programs such as developing institutional support, gaining faculty buy-in and developing a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy.
