I’m primarily a writer and content creator, and am required to write engaging, creative and accurate copy on a daily basis, using the CMS OpenText to update, edit and build webpages. I am continuously developing, and am moving further into a strategic role by taking on more responsibilities, such as developing a content strategy and helping to manage a content calendar across our three major markets: UK, US and AU.I have more than a basic understanding of SEO, with the view to continue building on this. It helps to inform my on-site content, using relevant tools to understand search terms and conduct keyword research to ensure we are increasing organic traffic to our site.I use Google Analytics on a daily basis to monitor the websites of the three major markets, report any insights, and find ways to optimise.I also work across the UK, US and AU divisions on local/global campaigns and strategies for their websites, from initial briefing stage through to implementation and tracking. I also train team members in other countries for the other websites - e.g. Singapore, Thailand etc.Collaboration is key in digital marketing, and therefore I make sure communication is kept open and I am working with various digital teams to align messaging, reach objectives and work towards the brand vision. I regularly collaborate with the CRM, Social, Creative, Paid and UX teams. Blogging is also part of the online content job description, and I regularly write travel blogs in line with commitments from tourist boards, campaigns and our own objectives.
