• Played a key role as Acting Regional Director – of Asia, leading the initial stages of the COVID-19 Pandemic. • Line managed country leaders in Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, as well as Finance & Administration and HR Departments • Led the process of developing contingency plans and adopting new safety and security measures• Developed systems to facilitate the transition into the new normal• Maintained staff motivation in a dynamic and changing context with a smooth Human Resources Management

• Strategically led the PMEAL and Programme Quality Assurance Core Teams (PQACT) and laid a foundation for uplifting the PQACT mechanism with partners at the regional level • Developed and managed regional capacity building plan to strengthen the country offices and partners; Developed systems for monitoring the capacity building initiatives. • Covered the role of the Country Coordinator (for Myanmar) in the absence of country-level leadership

• Developed the overall strategy and policy for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems development • Facilitated projects and the country programme in understanding, developing, and implementing the overall framework for M&E throughout the project cycle• Supported partners in developing and designing formats for key indicators for recording and reporting the results of the projects
