• Lead the Product Environmental Compliance team to ensure products comply with global environmental laws/regulations and customer requirements, including RoHS, REACH, POPs, ELV, WEEE, CA Prop 65, US EPA TSCA, Conflict minerals as well as ESG requirements.• Manage compliance program, develop team objectives and project plans to ensure timely implementation of new requirements like an elimination of certain hazardous substances from products• Monitor and interpret new developments in product related environmental compliance requirements from regulatory agencies, industry standards and customer specifications• Analyze the implications of such developments and ensure that relevant personnel are informed, oversee compliance data collection from suppliers, escalate to suppliers and internal teams for resolution• Participate in industry working groups, draft applications for RoHS exemptions extensions, provide contributions to the public stakeholder consultations• Develop policies and procedures to comply with various global environmental regulations, standards and customer requirements• Providing training to staffs on these policies and procedures• Review compliance documentation for components and products during the product development process and for existing products• Review product engineering changes to ensure continuous compliance• Ensure proper review and approval of product compliance documentation, issue compliance certifications for products, complete customers’ questionnaires, coordination of 3rd party RoHS and other hazardous substances analytical testing and respond to customer inquiries• Collaborate with other functional teams like Supply Chain, R&D, Product Engineering, Sales, Product Line Management, Contract Manufacturers• Identify improvement opportunities to the compliance management tool and support the change implementation• Working with IT/IS staff to maintain the environmental information on the web site
