    My work at Terra Bioforge is centered around product development of revolutionary technologies for the sequence-specific capture, amplification, sequencing, and over-expression of long DNA (20-150 kb). I co-developed and co-manage DNAtrap, a service for rapid custom cloning of very large DNA fragments. I also build tools and engineer microbial strains for activation and expression of cryptic or low-expressed biosynthetic gene clusters from both isolated bacterial and fungal strains or from metagenomic samples. I invented a new method for activating gene clusters and was issued a patent for this work.
