My role involves actively working on the development of new features and improvements for the Danica Pension platform. Additionally, I successfully created an internal application that serves as a valuable resource for Product Owners and Business Analysts, aiding them in the comprehensive review and analysis of customer behaviors. As part of my role, I was responsible for enhancing the 'Synergi Plant' - a plant integrity management solution, through the development of new features and the re-architecting of existing modules. These efforts aimed at improving performance, usability experiences, and addressing existing issues within the application. Some of the key contributions I made during this period include:1. Designing a horizontally scalable service that effectively segregates computationally intensive tasks from the application, catering specifically to on-premise installations.2. Rewriting several core data processors, resulting in a substantial improvement in computation performance across the entire platform. Notably, one particular optimization reduced data computation time from over 13 hours to just 40 seconds, which helped significantly in winning the next client.3. Developing a notification framework and a lazy data and file processing module. This implementation ensures that once computation or processing is completed, resultant data becomes readily available for display or download through the notification system.4. Optimizing the UI framework for various modules to enhance usability and overall performance.5. Conducting in-depth analysis and monitoring of customer-end issues, providing timely and effective solutions to address them.6. Actively contributing ideas for intra-company hackathons, fostering innovation and collaboration within the organization.

During my tenure, I successfully integrated numerous new features into three Sitecore components. As a valuable member of the Sustained Engineering team in KL, I took on the responsibility of delivering essential hotfixes, in addition to developing requested features, resolving existing issues, and optimizing performance to enhance overall efficiency.

Led a .NET team, developed enterprise solutions using C#, WCF, WPF, MVC, and SQL Server. Mentored and supported other teams. As part of the offshore teams, I worked with the following companies on device-oriented projects like Cashflow and Temperature logger.• Sensitech Inc, Boston, USA - Led a 5-member team to create a hybrid solution for managing remote temperature logger devices. Implemented cost-reducing features for deployment and upgrades using C#, Asp.net, JS, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, and Azure.• MEI Group (Crane PI), USA - Led a 5-member team to develop a desktop solution automating testing procedures for BillAcceptor Devices. Achieved an 85% reduction in testing time for complex test cases using C#, WPF, and SQL Server.

Engaged in C and C++ development on the NXP platform. Additionally, I have worked on MEA-specific tasks involving Browser, SNS, Java, and Game modules for Samsung feature phones. Submitted 2 DOI for patent and 5 new ideas in intra-company Idea Open Space.

As part of the offshore teams, I worked with the following companies and contributed to the development of internal Proof of Concept (POC) products using C#, Java, and PHP:• SycapGroup AB, Stockholm, Sweden - I played a key role in developing a forex trading charting solution. Additionally, I architected and built a scripting language that allowed end users to write algorithms for their custom indicators. This solution was developed using Flex 3.0, Asp.net, Velocity, and SQL.• Cybercommunity, Australia - I was involved in developing a highly configurable CMS administration solution, which facilitated the deployment and configuration changes for over 700 deployed Cybcom CMS instances across different domains. This project was implemented using C#, Asp.net, MVC, and SQL Server.• Siliconsole, USA - I contributed to the initial prototype of Siliconsole, an innovative platform that combines a social network for enterprises, a project lifecycle management (PLM) system, and a collaboration app. This prototype was developed using Flash Builder 4.5.• SuperGeeks, USA - I was responsible for architecting the AI module of the 3D board game 'Farolitos Journey.' By utilizing the dependency injection technique, I enabled customization of various levels of AI modules. It's a group of four friends who come together to explore different languages and create innovative projects to solve real-world problems in our spare time. We consider it our very own R&D space. While we have succeeded in a few of our initiatives, we have also faced failure in several others. The learning experiences from both our successes and failures have been valuable in our journey of exploration and innovation.
