In other words, you no longer need a dedicated UPS to power the recorder. There is a 4+1, 8+1, and 16+1 models and shortly we will be releasing a 24V AC for cameras 12V DC for the recorder version of the +1 power supplies in all 3 sizes as well.The features are:• Protect against power outages or failures for an extended period of time; while being far more cost efficient than the current industry solutions.• Dedicated 1.25 amps per output for camera channels and 5 amps for the recorder. Many camera power supplies are 10 amps for 16 outputs which only allows .625 amps per output.• Phoenix Connectors for ease of installation and wire management.• Short Circuit Protection, with automatic restart.• Surge Protection, and Overload Protection.When all else fails your surveillance will still be running. Longer Backup time!The real weakness in a traditional system is the power for the recorder. Currently, for power backup on a recorder, the standard is to use a computer UPS. A 1,500VA on most 16 channel recorders lasts less than 20 minutes. Our system supports up to 108Ah (6 - 18Ah) of batteries. This is enough backup power with most 16 channel recorders and 16 cameras in IR mode to run over 24 hours. This is substantially longer than you can get with a 1,500VA UPS and with a much lower cost to install.*Patent Pending
