I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration. As an eagle scout, I was active for many years with the Boy Scouts of America. I played for the Texas State Rugby team and was the Captain of the Forwards and Treasurer 2013-2014. I work hard to get the job done and keep people motivated.From 2015 to 2016 I worked at FABCo as a rebar estimator/salesman where I bid projects including paving, pre-tie, flatwork and structrual. As a estimator/salesman my duties included measuring and calculating the amount of rebar needed and contacting the customers with quotes for said projects. While working at FABco I also was in charge of the pre-tie department where I contacted the rebar tieing companies to get crews out to tie together pilasters and piers, and cordnated the delivery to the project site. From 2016 to 2022 I worked at Concrete Contractor Supply of Texas (CCS) as an Estimator/Detailer where I oversaw projects from bidding to sending material to the field. As an Estimator/Detailer I downloaded the drawings and other bidding documents, created folders, provided an estimate for the rebar and concrete accessories to the sales team. Once a project was sold I created a sold folder and either sent the project to a detailing company to provide shop drawings or if the customers waved the shop drawings I detailed the project and sent the material to the customer. I trained several people how to estimate rebar and accessories during my time at CCS. From 2022 to May 2023 I worked at Longhorn Excavators as an Estimator where I oversaw projects bidding and kept track of equipment. As an Estimator I calculated the amount of the material needed for the projects, produced the price to move dirt (muck, clay, protective cover, waste), produced the price to MOB/DEMOB equipment an account for site visits, contacted the subcontractors and make initial site visits. On a weekly basis I kept track of where the equipment was being moved to and from, kept track of the machine hours and made sure we had up to date rental pricing/payment information.
