I have a decade of experience in the accounting/finance field, along with rapidly expanding skills in data analytics and reporting. I am skilled in traditional finance disciplines such as forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and financial reporting. On the data side, I delve into areas such as system architecture, data governance, data wrangling, and business intelligence. Those I’ve worked with would describe me as an “Excel wizard” (though I disagree, as there’s always more to learn in Excel!), and I’m often a resource to others with Excel-related questions. I’m passionate about empowering business leaders with the tools they need to make sound, data-backed decisions. This passion has driven me to enroll in graduate school for business analytics, and I have rapidly developed my database management and data governance skills as well. I’m happiest at work when I can leverage technology or systems to make others’ jobs easier.Outside of accounting, my other passions include ultimate Frisbee, basketball, volleyball, and playing the piano. I play pickup basketball and ultimate Frisbee around the Des Moines area regularly. As I am from Wisconsin, I enjoy cheering for my Wisconsin sports teams (Packers/Badgers)!
Listed skills include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, and 19 others.
