I am having a great summer volunteering for the South Carolina State Park Service! As a volunteer campground host I greet and assist campers upon arrival, provide information about the campground, local attractions, and activities, and address camper questions, concerns, and complaints in a friendly and professional manner. In addition, I assist guests with the check-in and check-out, and monitor and report any maintenance issues to park staff. Administrative duties include keeping accurate records of camper registrations and payments, managing reservations, and updating campsite availability. I also distribute maps, brochures, and other informational materials to campers, and provide directions.

As the Office Manager for Irmo Counseling Services, LLC I provide general administrative services and support to a team of five busy psychologists.

As the Community Life Coordinator on a campus that is home to more than 650 residents, myresponsibilities include planning and executing large-scale events and activities, and securing outside entertainment and professional speakers. In addition, I plan day trips and local excursions for our residents, as well as oversee amenities, including the community greenhouse, gardens, wood shop, and library. I am the staff liaison to three resident committees, assist with the social media campaign, and manage the department budget.

As Lifestyle Director, I create a vibrant atmosphere for current and future residents to experience the company’s Live Better lifestyle. I plan and execute events for residents and perspective buyers and assist in creating an active lifestyle through clubs, events and excursions. I manage the 8,000 square foot, resort-style clubhouse, offer community tours and serve as liaison between the homeowners and the company. I also support TAIT's executive team, arrange for visitor accommodations, manage corporate housing, and, act as liaison with the Rock Lititz Community Partners.I am a Certified Notary Public.

At the New Holland Recreation Center, I coordinated all special events including the annual Beach Bash, community outreach programs, the Lancaster County Flower Show, benefit golf outings and more. I managed all aspects of the events, from budgets and logistics to messaging to staffing and volunteers. I coordinated the Center’s marketing initiatives, website, and social media campaign and supported the Director of Development with fundraising.

For 2 years, I built and sustained a respected brand in the retail stationary industry. As the proprietor of Pushing the Envelope, I handled all day-to-day operations including sales, marketing, merchandising, and relationship-building. Throughout the operations of Pushing the Envelope, I maintained accurate financial records, negotiated leases and contracts, and satisfied customer needs in a timely and responsive way.
