Lived on Education Hill, Redmond, WA. 45 years. Originally from New York. I founded the "Redmond Neighborhood Blog" in 2007 to shed light on the industrial pollution to salmon-bearing Evans Creek.My media experience started with the Redmond Reporter (City Watch columnist), Seattle Times (News Partner) and PATCH reporter. A goal is to publish an online newspaper for Greater Redmond. Environmental activism, mental health advocacy, local government reporting and & neighborhood photography are keystones of this blog.My focus has always been on the local governments of the City of Redmond, Lake Washington School District and EvergreenHealth Public Hospital. Goals are to improve transparency, make them accountable, and improve citizen participation. The blog has a "liberal arts" theme: I report on our diverse cultures, our natural environment, urban planning, community development, the historic district and neighborhood news.EDUCATION:: Graduated Horace Greeley High School, Chappaqua, NY. 1969Graduated Denison University, Granville, Ohio, 1973University of Arizona, 1974-75, Studied Principles of Marketing / Organizational Behavior. I was accepted to the University of Rochester MBA program.My career focused on medical products sales and marketing to buying groups, hospitals and clinics. Territory management and strategic selling was key.
