I am a materials and analytical chemist with a background in electrochemistry who specializes in materials characterization to solve complex chemical problems. My favorite part of being a scientist is constantly learning new things, especially as part of a team. Who I work with is as important as what I do. I find the most interesting spaces to learn new things lie at the unexplored intersections in between conventional fields of study. This inclination allows me to successfully contribute across the entire technology pipeline. I have experience in research and development, such as establishing fundamental structure-property relationships and managing product development testing work streams. I have also contributed to engineering and manufacturing spaces, such as scaling up production trials and fast-paced, online troubleshooting. To that end, I have worked in various business sectors including renewable energy/batteries, microelectronics packaging/fabrication, and glass and ceramic materials and engineering. I rely on my chemical and materials characterization skills to drive innovative method and process development, but also expanded my experience in physical and optical characterization while working at Corning Incorporated. I enjoy learning about the nuances of materials and products, but also about the tools used to understand them and how they can better serve the effort at hand. Ultimately, I utilize these skills to manage projects, establish solutions, and communicate findings for business critical needs, while learning something new along the way.
