Most recently, I led and coordinated with a team of developers, architects, and domain experts responsible for the definition and development of Oracle Communications' On-Premise Cloud Platform Architecture. We were responsible for developing, prototyping, and validating Infrastructure (IaaS) and platform (PaaS) definitions for Oracle's future NFV offerings(as well as SaaS) and services (Telco Cloud). In other words, all the heterogeneous variants that Oracle's Customers prescribe to implement their future NFV (Network Function Virtualization) in support of our Commercial Service Providers. e.g. Sprint, Vodafone, TelItalia, Verizon Wireless, etc.Our team of highly-experienced engineers and architects bring to bear many decades of experience in Telecommunications and Networking systems, middleware, and platform integration. Our charter is to design and develop automated platform infrastructure to support rapid deployment of virtualized network capabilities for Oracle Communication's suite of applications and middleware as well as customer's hybrid deployment models in support of their existing and nascent application offerings as well as third-party software necessary for their service delivery. Our research included OpenStack, Docker, LXC, Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins for CI/CD, Intel DPDK and 6Wind network optimizers, Python, and a variety of Linux distributions.
