Vice President And Loan Document Officer
• Analyze financial documents to provide recommendations to the Chief Credit Officer regarding extensions of credit for new and existing customers• Assist Chief Credit Officer in updating the bank’s policies responsible for safeguarding the bank’s risk profile • Conduct monthly loan reviews on the bank’s larger and more complex debt relationships ensuring that borrowers/guarantors were performing within loan covenants detailed in loan origination documents• Report monthly to the Chief Credit Officer any loan policy violations, which included, but not limited to, technical violations, regulatory violations, policy violations, and any additional deviations from prudent lending standards• Work with and mentor junior analysts to develop sound analytical skills necessary for a diverse and robust loan and collateral portfolio• Identifying mitigating factors for debt requests to help target strengths and weaknesses when developing risk profiles for new or existing credit relationships• Reviewing loan documents for precision and accuracy allowing for the stratification between the bank’s Credit team, Loan Processing team, and the Compliance department• Measure collateral concentrations to develop risk profiles to help Senior Management plan for contingency operations in the face of unexpected volatility
