IT Director for Curry County with experience in many sub-disciplines of IT. I posses two degrees that are both IT and Business focused. My education has afforded me the opportunity to specialize in bringing a business minded approach to an industry where people often have a more narrow focus. I combine both Business and IT to increase customer service where it often is criticized for lacking, while also developing a more sensible eye to the budget and bottom line of the organization. Currently I serve as the New Mexico Counties IT Affiliate Chair and as an appointe to the New Mexico State Cybersecurity Committee.Previously supervised the information side of the IT department for the Clovis Municipal Schools for 9+ years. We were responsible for maintaining the student and financial information system (Skyward) used throughout the district as well as providing end user support and escalating support issues to the vendor.I have experience designing web pages using Dreamweaver, JavaScript, ASP and CSS. I have also spent time as a Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003 administrator as well as numerous years of Windows OS support. Other experience includes troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, maintaining server based applications, and performing server maintenance.Other experiences include working in the UAV industry. Specifically I worked with the ScanEagle UAV as an instructor. In this position I provided instruction on equipment needed for flight operations, maintenance operations, and ground use equipment considered vital to the mission success.
