Retained by Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy to manage a three-person team responsible for procedural operations on the House floor to include legislative strategy development and advisory to members of the House Republican Conference. Work focused on transitioning the Republican conference floor strategy to reflect the party's minority status.● Provided emergency management of the House Chamber during the January 6 attack.○ Directed staff to barricade entryways, assisted Members with gas masks, and ensured theevacuation of all Members and staff.○ Returned to the House Floor on January 6th into January 7th to ensure certification of the2020 Presidential Election.● Led the Leader’s work as Chair of the Steering Committee, the internal governing body for theHouse Republican Conference, with a focus on: 1) committee assignments for all members of the conference, 2) strategic pathways for committee members to become chairs or ranking members at the committee or subcommittee level, and 3) management of controversial or high-visibility assignments to include removal of members from committees.

Promoted by House Speaker Paul Ryan to direct the Cloakroom Floor Office and manage a three-member team responsible for executing the day to day actions of the Republican House conference and management of the steering committee portfolio.● Personally briefed the Speaker on Steering Committee developments, member assignments, and strategy related to addressing rank and file member issues from the Freedom Caucus tanking the annual Farm Bill to challenges with both immigration proposals.

Ran daily operations of the House of Representatives alongside the House floor’s General Counsel, Floor Director, and Parliamentarians. Developed the House’s long-term calendar and supported the Speaker in his procedural responsibilities.● Executed daily floor operations by coordinating the presiding member schedule, negotiating the legislative calendar and bill procedures with House Democratic staff and Senate Republicans.● Conducted research, authored briefing materials, and contributed to the legislative strategy in support of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, Speaker Ryan’s signature legislative achievement.
