Kit is a founding partner and the Executive Chair of RTR Media Inc. an award-winning content creation company specializing in lifestyle/factual content for television and streaming platforms. RTR Media produces the Home Town franchise with Erin and Ben Napier. Home Town is one of HGTV's top-rated shows in the United States. RTR's slate also includes Home Town Take Over, Season 4 of Helped I Wrecked My House, with Jasmine Roth, Season 3 of No Demo Reno with Jenn Todyrk, and Season 3 of Down Home Fab, with Chelsea and Cole DeBoer.Kit embraces the virtual and physical workplace. She lives in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and travels virtually and physically to RTR's corporate headquarters in Toronto, and production offices throughout the US. She’s created/ produced and commissioned a wealth of projects, including HGTV's hit shows HomeTown and Help I Wrecked My House. She's also Ep'ed 11 seasons of Income Property. Kit worked with and for broadcasters across North America. Her positions included reporter, host, producer, development director, production executive, and executive producer.Kit managed the National Screen Institute’s Totally TV program. Under her management, ten projects proceeded to be commissioned and broadcast, including HBO Canada's acclaimed series, Less Than Kind, Global's Da Kink in my Hair, and CBC's drama series GUNS. Kit is the winner of 3 Canadian screen awards for best Lifestyle producer, the WIFT Mentorship Award, The Innoversity Angel Award for Diversity, the Female Eye, Maverick Award. Kit was also nominated for an International Emmy for Interrupt This Program. Kit served on the CMPA Digital Committee and served as the Vice President of WIFT-Toronto.
