It happened, our businesses have become so integrated with technology that it is virtually impossible for nearly any business to run without it. With something so integral to the success of our business, why do we have such a love (yet mostly hate) relationship with our tech? For example, Do you get that sinking feeling anytime there is a delay or beep or a bonk from one of your devices? Are you convinced that there are stress chips installed in your equipment that sense when you need it most and decides that is a good time to break down? Get that weird email attachment that would not open correctly and now you find yourself wondering if you just infected everything with some type of malware (this thought usually coincides with the delay beep or bonk above?) What does all of this have in common? Uncertainty …. Not all that long ago a computer enthusiast could manage all the tech and do a fairly good job. Now it is impossible for a single person to serve this task, even if it is their life quest and they work 100 hours a week at it … No matter how hard they try they just will not have all the knowledge needed to do their due diligence to keep things efficient and keep the business safe.
