Curriculum Development and Writing: Wrote curriculum for Computer Sciences courses, Advanced Microsoft Office, Career and Finance Management. Developed Curriculum Crosswalks aligning the Common Core ELA standards to National Industry Based Standards to our coursework for Construction, Marketing, and Computer Information Systems Course Pathways. Led a team of educators and administrators through a Professional Circle to develop and present information through a complex review process. Co-wrote the Consolidated Grant Application with the Assistant Superintendent.

Developed Curriculum and taught Visual Basic Programming, Journalism, Java Programming, Fashion Merchandising I and II, Advanced Microsoft Office, Internet Publishing, Career & Finance Management, Computer Graphics and Personal Computers.Work with 120-200 students annually, ages 13 – 18, with all learning abilities mixed in the same classroom. This committee works to best inform and direct the work of guiding students towards their post-secondary future. The activities offered to students and parents, as well as reviewing best practices, initiate through this group of educators, administrators, and post-secondary participants.

Taught teachers at all ages and stages of their careers: Advanced Microsoft Office, Powerful PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Smart Board and Thinkfinity. Creation of all materials used for my training classes and received consistent high marks on evaluations.

This committee is a shared decision making group that directly addresses problems and concerns at the high school level, then makes recommendations to the superintendent and the Board of Education.

Achievements: Increased overall sales in fiscal year 1994-95 by 12%, marking the company’s first increase after four consecutive years of declining sales. Under my tenure, sales grew at an average rate of 8% annually for the next three years. Responsible for the sale of the Prestige line of Stoffel products.
