I am passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of marginalised communities and believe that education is the best tool to reach that goal. I seek to find impactful ways to communicate messages that changes perceptions, enhance health and wellbeing, and ultimately promotes a sense of self advocacy for affected communities.I have nine years Learning and Development, and two years Health Promotion & Harm reduction experience, including high involvement in community services. I am always seeking ways to add value to my community which is evident through the many volunteering positions I have attained. 
As a PLHIV and part of the Positive Speakers Bureau, I am often asked to speak at public engagements, to educate the wider community and thereby help end the stigmas faced by so many of my peers.I believe through building healthy public policy; we can create supportive environments that strengthen community action and in turn reorient needed health services.In 2016 I created and rolled out The Hivsters 'Cause we can' Camino. A 215km education and awareness campaign that took 6 HIV+ individuals across rural VIC & SA by foot, to educate rural communities about HIV prevention, treatment and self care. I have also created and rolled out the Towards ZERO together campaign, a 275km hike from Brussels to Amsterdam in July 2018. I took these project from inception to completion, created fundraising events to fund the events and garnered the support 5 HIV advocacy organisations, the Victorian government as well as an Australian Olympian walked along to help create awareness.
