I am a writer and communicator who enjoys translating information into engaging and thought-provoking stories. Currently, I work as a freelance communicator, providing support for communication agencies in the form of blog writing, social media management, research and content design. I graduated from the Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minors in History and Global Narratives in 2020. While pursuing my BA, I took on many volunteer roles and learned the value of effective and impactful communication. I followed this experience with an Ontario Graduate Certificate from Humber College's Professional Writing and Communications program. Through this one-year program, I worked on strengthening my writing and editing skills. As a student, I gained valuable experiences in digital publishing and collaboration through my role as an Editorial Assistant for the Humber Literary Review Spotlight, an online magazine publishing fiction and nonfiction stories and essays written by Humber's emerging writers and edited and marketed by Humber students.Through various work experiences in the communications and publishing spheres, I have accumulated a range of skills and put my abilities to the test in different work environments. I am proficient in writing content for blog posts, digital articles, press releases, annual reports and more. I have experience creating content calendars and developing social media posts for various social media platforms. I have also developed my graphic design skills through creating newsletters, event posters and other creative documents for clients.
