Hi, I am Ruba Asmussen and I am an experienced Business, People, and Recruiting Leader for the Technology and Life Sciences industries. I built the foundation of my career with 12 years at Aerotek, the #1 US Engineering, Scientific, and Clinical Staffing Provider (Staffing Industry Analysts). While simultaneously holding some leadership roles and nerding out in my “free time” on optimizing recruiting operations, I achieved the Top Producing Recruiter in Aerotek's Northwest Region for 4 consecutive years and also Top Producing Clinical Recruiter nationally. Later I moved on to architect and build out recruiting capabilities at Zymergen, a materials and science innovation company, which we grew from a small start-up company to over 850 employees in multiple countries in less than four years. We created an amazing team, I learned more about HR alongside very talented colleagues and from my boss. I gained a few gray hairs along the way 😅 but, I had a blast! This was my dream job.
