1. Perform receiving of samples, sub culturing and performing isolate identification using VITEK 2 Compact and prepare test report.2. Perform GRAM staining, fungal staining, biochemical tests and bacterial identification for all isolates obtained from various sources.3. Perform QC test for new VITEK card and ensure consumables for VITEK 2 Compact is sufficient for testing.4. Perform microbial isolate preservation once isolate identification confirmed.5. Maintain the inventory stock of VITEK, QC reference microorganism culture and consumables.6. Manage decontamination and disposal of waste generated by microbial ID testing.7. Perform sampling for all type of water is potable water, process water, purified water, water for injection and pure steam condensate from all required sampling points according to approved procedures.8. Assist equipment preventive maintenance or equipment service scheduled for microbial identification equipment.9. Ensure the testing area in Quality Control Microbiology laboratory is monitored for temperature, relative humidity (RH) and differential pressure and all the parameter are within the limit and not limited to microbiology laboratory equipment.

1. Preparing media required for daily operation.2. Conduct microbiological testing for food, water, pharmaceutical and environmental samples which includes sample preparation, analysis, transferring and subculturing and confirmation test (when necessary).3. Disposal of older food, water and swab samples, decontamination process and cleaning of the autoclave machine. 4. Ensure all the media log file & autoclave machine logbook are updated.
