Led the purchasing, production planning, shipping, receiving, and plant stores teams. The SCM group consisted of 17 employees working with a multi-disciplinary approach focusing on safety, budget control, lean manufacturing, and operational effectiveness through implementation of high performance team concepts, safety, quality, and customer service. Supported global division’s efforts leading cross-functional/multi-site team/projects and annual sales of $150M and managing a $20M inventory.

Led the production planning, plant distribution, shipping, carbonate conveying, and carbonate packaging groups (1 supervisor, 5 salaried, and 10 hourly employees). Held responsibility over four site supervisors. While in charge of the Material Handling group, enhanced the production planning process and developed FMC’s intellectual capital represented by 8 direct reports.Worked as a project manager and process engineer improved the performance of eight chemical product lines. As area operations manager for the primaries group, led operations with strong focus on productivity, process improvement, cost management, safety, quality, and customer service.

Developed technical plans and executed research programs for new inorganic chemical products. Supported the work of the Marketing & Sales group and led transition process from R&D to pilot plant to production.

Leading manufacturer of apple juice and apple sauce (“White House” brand). Led a group of 25-30 employees focused on budget control, operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
