A pioneer in the field of events, logistics and organization, Ruben Caruana since a very early age sought to follow his goal, that of embodying events, exhibitions and conferences all under one roof.Founder of Sign It Ltd, he started off with the company specializing in sign writing and exhibition stands. Creativity with vision. Alert as always, with the meticulous crafting of both design and material and their alliances with accessories and colours, Ruben sought to cater for a wide spectrum of activities. His designs focused on customers’ requirements to embellish their requests to a high quality concept, thus enriching their products’ presentation and display.Event in a tent, was a concept that Ruben introduced in our island for the events industry at a later stage. This allowed events ideas to be realized anywhere without any space restrictions.On the 31st of April 2004, Malta celebrated its accession into the EU. E/T/C UK's Ross Ashton designed a stunning large-format projection show. Ashton was commissioned to produce the show by Ruben Caruana, Managing Director of Sign It, who was also production co-ordinator for the Welcom europe event. He embarked into his driving force into a new venture which saw itself coming in force and realisation in 2006, the formation of MFCC, Malta Fairs and Convention Centre. His recent project with was the event service's modular system, Geo Structure, which consists of identical, reconfigurable steel components which provide structural integrity and creative flexibility far beyond other scaffolding-based systems currently on the market. The result of 20 years of research together with Martin Pillow had developed this product by a team of event specialists and engineers, rebranded after a major external investment and expanded its stock inventory, product range and capabilities to work across Europe.
